Absolutely brilliant full day at Duxford. So much to see and enjoy here. It has everything for a family day out. Great play area for children, plenty of places to eat and drink, with a good choice of hot and cold food, wonderful static display of aircraft, brilliant museum areas and for us, the bonus of watching a Spitfire take to the air. Like the best places to visit you need more than a day to see it all.

I was there in nov 2023. From 10pm to close hour we visited just two hangars. We've been lucky to get nice stories from passionate staff about Spitfire and Lancaster, including sitting in Spitfire and visiting inside of Lancaster. Whole day, just two planes. For this year, 2025 we've plan a two days visit with acomodation near by.

Fantastic day out. Even my partner enjoyed the day, and she has no interest in aviation. We'll have to return as we ran out of time to see everything on display.

This was very enjoyable, even for me, who is more interested in gardening. There were lots of facilities and the cafes were not too bad. The prices weren't crazy. I found the experience of walking around quite poignant. Everything was well laid out and labelled so you knew what you were looking at. The history was very interesting. The volunteers were amazing, helpful and very informative. It's an excellent day out. We went on a Thursday when the Christmas school holidays were still on, so it was busy.

As a first time visiting the site I was very impressed with the variety of things you can do and see also the ability to board some of the displays was for me and amazing thing to do the down side is the price of gifts but apart from that I would definitely recommend this place for all the family.
